Dial Up Access
Dial up access is provided through channelized T1 lines. Our goal is to keep our user-to-modem ratio at 6 to 1 or less, which is less than half the national average. This provides you with access when you need it; we rarely experience a busy signal problem. Our modems are Ascend Max 4048. Each dialup line is a 56K digital connection

High-Speed Wireless Access
We currently offer high-speed wirless broadband access to the Pittsburg and Girard areas. Please see our Wireless Information Pages for current availability, features and pricing.

Virus Scanning of E-mail
We are dedicated to providing you with virus-free e-mail. We currently employ a combination of McAfee's WebShield and Declude's AntiVirus add-on for IMail mail server. in order to scan every incoming and outgoing e-mail for viruses. We are constantly updating our virus definintions and do strive to update them as soon as possible after notification of any high-risk virus. New and altered viruses and trojans appear every day and no antivirus program is 100% effective due to the speed with which new viruses spread. It is important to understand the basics of protecting yourself by 1) Not opening unexpected attachments even from people you know and 2) Run and update a virus program on your computer. Do your part and help us help you remain virus free.

Spam Filters
We currently scan our incoming mail using Declude's Junk Mail scanner. We can block groups of mail, but we can also block individual senders. You can help us block junk mail which not only helps you but also all of FEN's customers.
